Houston tops the list of “mobile-shopping-savvy” cities for the second year in a row according to the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s “Mobile Shoppers” study. Moreover, Houston consumers demonstrate a growing awareness of and sensitivity to mobile coupons, and over 80% say they access retail websites and apps on their devices.
Over three-quarters of Houston residents now own a smart mobile device. Only San Francisco can boast higher ownership rate at 78%. It’s not just smart phones among the “out and about” devices. Almost 30% of tablet owners say they recently used their devices within a store.
